Into the first day of June 2009.
Blogging in Penang now. (Why I am in Penang? Lain kali baru beritahu! haha)
Raymond Lam’s debut concert at the famed Coliseum in Hong Kong is now two weeks away. He will be singing songs from his latest album too! Gua jealous dengan Siew Meyy kerana dia akan pergi ke sana for the concert.
Seven months working as Assistant Cinema Manager at GSC Mid Valley. Time flies so fast. Gua sudah mula berasa bosan bekerja. I am indeed a pain in the ass. Sikit-sikit rasa bosan. Nevertheless, it is really nice working in the cinema line as what I have learnt in PR course was put to good use in GSC. Press conference, product launches and interviews with stars are among the highlights. All these are eye-opening experiences to me. I never thought that I will work in GSC because all this while I watched movies in TGV. What a contradiction?! Besides that, contrary to the popular belief, working in the cinema industry does not mean that I watch all the movies. For the latest movies, gua belum lagi menonton Angels & Demons, Night At The Museum 2 and Terminator Salvation yet. Being in the cinema line does not mean everything is easy and relax. Problems with customers really drive me to the wall terutamanya mereka yang tak munasabah.
Gua betul-betul sakit hati. Setiap bulan gua dapat menyimpan sekurang-kurangnya RM700 daripada gaji bulanan. Itu mesti dilakukan dalam apa jua keadaan dan apa jua cara sekalipun kerana adalah matlamat yang ditetapkan oleh gua semenjak mula bekerja. Must save money for the future. Bak kata pepatah, “Sediakan payung sebelum hujan”. For the past two months, I managed to save an additional of RM300 on top of the RM700 savings. I was very happy with the accomplishments. But this joy was shortlived. The car I am driving now had tyre-related problems and the cost of repairing it was RM300. Macam tu, kering terus tambahan RM300 yang gua berjaya berjimat itu. What was just a merely tyre puncture problem spreaded into worn-off tyre, tyre alignment and drive-shaft problems. One simple car check-up turned out to be a lot of problems besetting the car. This car check-up is akin to medical check-up. No wonder old people insisted that they do not want to go for medical check-up. Kalau tak pergi check-up, langsung takde penyakit. Lepas pergi check-up, apa jua penyakit dalam tubuh badan pun ditemui.
For the first time in seven months since I am staying in SS2, Celina asked me out for makan. Selama ini, gua yang mengajak dia. Ini budak kecil tak pernah mencari gua di SS2. When I told her about this statistics, she mengada-ada with me. Dia kata nak jumpa gua lagi pada hari ini dan Rabu. Gua secara sinisnya berkata gua akan mengingatinya di dinding terlebih dulu. She is the one and only from my university that I met the most. I always asked her why she is small. Okay! She is cute! Besides Celina, I want to meet Debbie too but she is always busy. I will always remember Soh Kim Lian as my best friend at UTAR. She is sincere and help people whole-heartedly. She is such a wonderful character. Everyone feel comfortable to have her as friend. Debbiemon = Sang Kucing Robot.
On Saturday, Khai Wan and Mui Ling were at The Gardens having their meals. Khai Wan called me to meet up. I went to see her at The Gardens. I did not eat because I am not a fan of Japanese food. So, I just looked at them eating while chatting together. Both of them said I looked really tired and the way I talked to them indicated that I have a lot of problems to think. Then, we went to GSC to redeem two free movie tickets of Terminator Salvation for Khai Wan at the reservation counter. My staff asked RM1 booking fee from Khai Wan because he thought Miss Lee was making a booking. On the spot, I chided him for asking the RM1..haha..We laughed together. After that, I was busy with my work. So I excused myself from Khai Wan and Mui Ling. I was delighted because they visited me in Mid Valley. My ticketing counter staffs said whenever I brought girl friends to GSC, all those girls are either beautiful or cute. They saw Chia Wen the most and followed by Sannie, Khai Wan, Celina and Amirah. One thing for sure was they sudah lupa tentang Siew Meyy. The last time Miss Chin went to GSC Mid Valley was on February. That time, my staffs and even my seniors said Siew Meyy is really beautiful and looked like Snow White.
Yesterday, Chia Wen and I had lunch together in Kayu. She said she is going to attend her colleague’s wedding banquet at night in Damansara. I poked fun on her when she mentioned that the wedding cannot be avoided because her friend is pregnant. I said when is she going to get pregnant since she is so hard-up and syok sangat with her Desmond..haha..Masa tu mulalah dia berfalsafah bahawa dia takkan membuat “benda yang bukan-bukan” sebelum kahwin dan hanya akan berkahwin setelah berusia 28 tahun. Menurutnya lagi, empat tahun adalah tempoh yang panjang. Apa pun boleh berlaku dan apa pun boleh berubah berbanding sekarang. She still want to have at least another 4 years of singlehood before thinking of any future plans. Then, she poured cold water on Siew Meyy’s wish of getting married when 25 years old. Itu dua orang kawan karib memang suka perli-memperli sesama sendiri.
